AT IT AGAIN- 2009 STARS AWARDS
This is the second year our company has entered the 2009 STARS AWARDS competition and we are very excited about the chance to compete. We have entered "Best Overall Website" and "Best Detached Home Under $250,000" with the Nubbin Ridge Cabin. We also entered Nubbin Ridge Cabin into special projects category for its unique setting and construction. NEW REALTOR® SERVICES
We are proud to announce that our company is offering new services to our clients. We recently had an employee to attain a LEED® AP designation in February. He has since attained a real estate license and is a REALTOR® in the Greater Chapel Hill Association of REALTORS®.
We believe that a one stop shop is the easiest and most convenient way to conduct business for our clients and this was one more step in that direction. Now we are available to our clients in many more ways. Not only can we put together a design team to build your building, but we can provide services to help you find and purchase the necessary building or land for your home or business.

Stars Awards 2008
We are pleased to announce that W. L. Bishop Construction Company won its first award on September 10th, 2008, for best Best Single Family Detached Home with a Sales Price Over $1 Million- "Estate".
We earned this award for our work on the Trillium Estate in Hillsborough North Carolina. The Stars Awards recognizes builders across the state of North Carolina for their contributions to the building industry.

Green Building and LEED AP
There has been a great shift in the building industry over the last few decades, more so in the last few years, towards energy efficiency and green building. We strive to keep our company on the cutting edge and in doing so our company has joined the United States Green Building Council.
The USGBC has made great strides in the LEED program to deliver a comprehensive package for qualifying energy efficient and cost effective green buildings.
Here at our company, we are proud to employ a LEED Accredited Professional. Our Vice President, Mike Bishop, earned his LEED Accreditation on February 13th 2009.
